The Defender U.S. Eventing Team traveled to the FEI Eventing Nations Cup Netherlands CCIO4*-L as the final team competition of the 2024 season for the team. The team finished in second place overall with Hallie Coon and Cute Girl completing at the highest U.S. combination taking third - one of the highest individual placings for a U.S. combination in nearly a decade.

The U.S. team of Bruce Davidson, Sr., Kerry Millikin, David O’Connor, and Karen O’Connor won team bronze in 1998 (Rome, Italy). Four years later, the U.S. team of David O’Connor, Kim Severson, Amy Tryon, and John Williams captured team gold in 2002 (Jerez de la Frontera, Spain). In 2018, the goal of the Land Rover U.S. Eventing Team is a top-six finish for the team to secure Olympic qualification.
