Will Coleman is a two-time Olympian and one of the country's most accomplished eventing athletes. Coleman began his riding career when he was just six years old, riding his Shetland Pony, TJ, in the Virginia hunt fields with family and dabbling in multiple disciplines. Coleman’s interest in eventing was cultivated when he attended a clinic with eventing greats Karen and David O’Connor and later went to work for them in the summers.

Coleman’s youth career reached a pinnacle in 2001 when he was the individual gold medalist at the North American Youth Championships. With his Irish Sport Horse, Fox In Flight, he became the first U.S. athlete to win the Bramham CCI4*-L in 2003. The pair made their CCI5*-L debut that same year with a completion at Burghley and were subsequently named to the U.S. Eventing Team short list for the 2004 Athens Olympics.

Coleman made history in 2021, riding Off The Record, owned by Off The Record Syndicate LLC, to victory at the CCIO4*-S at CHIO Aachen, becoming the first American to ever win the prestigious event. At the end of the 2022 season, Coleman was recognized as a USEF International Equestrian of Honor and was awarded the William C. Steinkraus Trophy at the USEF Pegasus Awards. In 2023, he and Off The Record helped the Defender U.S. Eventing Team earn team silver at the FEI Eventing Nations Cup in Boekelo. During the 2024 season, Coleman and Off The Record, alongside emerging mount Diabolo, finished first and second in the Lexington CCI4*-S at the Defender Kentucky Three-Day Event.

Coleman was selected to his second U.S. Olympic Eventing Team for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games with Diabolo before the horse was withdrawn prior to the start of competition. In 2025, Coleman and Off the Record finished as runners-up in the inaugural US Equestrian Open Eventing Final CCI4*-L at Morven Park in Leesburg, Va.

Coleman and Diabolo reached a career milestone in 2026 by winning the Defender Kentucky Three-Day Event CCI5*-L, becoming the first horse-and-rider combination to win both the Lexington CCI4*-S and the Defender Kentucky Three-Day Event CCI5*-L in different years, and just the second U.S. combination to win the CCI5*-L in the past fifteen years.  

Coleman and his wife Katie, a professional eventing and dressage rider, operate Will Coleman Equestrian based in Virginia and Florida. 

Sydney Elliott made her debut at the CCI5*-L level in 2016 when she completed the Rolex Kentucky Three-Day Event with Cisko A. The pair went on to represent the U.S. on the Nations Cup Team at Great Meadow International in 2018, and had top-ten finishes in the CCI4*-S at the Carolina International, Chattahoochee Hills CCI4*-S, Stable View Oktoberfest CCI4*-S, and Fair Hill International CCI3*-L that same year.

With QC Diamantaire, Elliott has had top-ten finishes in the 2020 USEF CCI4*-L Eventing National Championship at Tryon, 2021 Pine Top Advanced Horse Trials, 2021 Carolina International CCI4*-S, 2021 The Fork @ TIEC CCI4*-S, and 2022 Land Rover Kentucky Three-Day Event CCI5*.

Elliott and "Q" have represented the U.S. Eventing Team at FEI Nations Cup comptetitions including in 2022 in the CCIO4*-S at CHIO Aachen and in 2021 at CCIO4*-L at Boekelo, where they finished fifth individually and led the U.S. team to a silver medal.

In 2023, Elliott and Q were part of the silver medal-winning U.S. Eventing Team at the Pan American Games in Santiago, Chile, where they finished eighth individually. The pair were also named as traveling alternates for the 2024 Paris Olympic Games, where they were called into the team as the traveling reserve after the withdrawl of Diabolo. 

Ariel Grald, began her international eventing career as a part of the Area I2004 North American Youth Championships team. After graduating from the University of Vermont, Grald worked in a research laboratory before making the switch to riding professionally. In 2012, she began working for Annie Eldridge in Vass, NC, allowing her to produce the string of top-level event horses that she currently rides at FEI competitions.

With over 20 years of international competition and more than 150 FEI starts, Grald has collected a total of 11 FEI wins throughout her career. After a hiatus from FEI competition during college, she returned in 2012 with LBF Oleagh’s Image. In 2014 she was named to the USEF Under 25 Developing Riders List and had her first FEI win at the Carolina International CCI3*-S.

Grald’s career took off upon her partnership with Leamore Master Plan, owned by Eldridge, who she completed her first CCI5*-L with in 2019. Together the pair finished four CCI5*-L events at the Kentucky Three Day Event, Burghley Horse Trials (GBR), Luhmühlen Horse Trials (FRA) and Badminton Horse Trials (GBR), all of which they finished in the top 15. Grald’s accolades allowed her to be the recipient of the Jacqueline B. Mars International Grant. In 2021, Grald represented the USA at CHIO Aachen (GER) aboard Leamore Master Plan, in addition to finishing in 11th place at the 2022 FEI Eventing World Championships in Pratoni, Italy.

Grald’s 2024 season consisted of numerous top three results. She rode Annie Eldridge’s Isla de Coco to a second-place finish at the Fair Hill International Horse Trials CCI3*-S. The pair had top three placings at the CCI4*-S level at the Tryon International Three Day, Bromont and Plantation Field International Horse Trials throughout 2024. With their partnership beginning in 2023, Eldridge’s Adagio’s Nobility and Grald started off the 2025 season at the Carolina International Horse Trial CCI3*-S finishing second.   

Tamra "Tamie" Smith is one of the United States' most accomplished eventing athletes. A member of the U.S. Eventing Team which won gold at the 2019 Pan American Games in Lima, Peru, aboard Mai Baum, Smith has represented the United States at multiple FEI championships, including the 2022 FEI Eventing World Championship, where she helped the team earn silver and finished ninth individually.  

Smith's partnership with Mai Baum has been a cornerstone of her international career. Following a top ten finish in the horse's CCI5*-L debut at the Defender Kentucky Three-Day Event in 2021, the pair competed at the 2022 Badminton Horse Trials before helping the U.S. earn team silver at the FEI Eventing World Championship later that year in Pratoni del Vivaro, Italy.  

In 2023, she dominated the Galway Downs Spring International CCI4*-S, finishing first with Mai Baum, second with Danito, and fifth with Solaguayre California. Smith and Mai Baum made history that year by winning the Defender Kentucky Three-Day Event CCI5*-L, becoming the first U.S. horse-and-rider combination to win the event since 2008. She also earned a team and individual podium finish at CHIO Aachen, placing third in the CCIO4*-NC-S, and helping the team secure silver.  

Throughout the 2024 season, Smith continued campaigning her competitive string of horses at the national and international levels, including Mai Baum, Kynan, Lillet 3, and Sumas Tina Turner. Notable wins included, Galway Downs International Spring CCI4*-S with Mai Baum, the Woodside Spring Horse Trials CCI3*-S with Kynan, and the Galway Downs International Fall Horse Trials CCI3*-L aboard Lillet 3.  

In 2025, Smith continued producing top international horses, which saw a breakout season for newer mount, Lillet 3. Smith carried her momentum into 2026, where she and Lillet 3 captured the Lexington CCI4*-S title after delivering the only double-clear show jumping round of the competition. The victory marked another historic achievement for Smith, becoming the first athlete to win both the Lexington CCI4*-S and the Defender Kentucky Three-Day Event CCI5*-L, accomplishing the feat on two different horses. 

Based in Temecula, California, Smith has operated Next Level Eventing since 2005, where she trains riders and develops horses from the young horse level through international competition.
