Land Rover U.S. Eventing Team in 3rd After Dressage

Over two days, all eventing horses at the 2014 Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games have completed their dressage tests, and the U.S. Team sits in Bronze Medal position. There's a lot of competition left...but it's a great start! The highest placed rider and horse are Phillip Dutton & Trading Aces . They are in a tie for 9th place with 43.8.

Martin & Shamwari 4 Close U.S. Eventing Dressage Effort with 46.3

Boyd Martin was the finla American to go down centerline this morning in the eventing dressage test, and they picked up the final score for the Land Rover U.S. Eventing Team. Their 46.3 is second best score for the U.S. and has them in 15th place at the moment .

Lynn Symansky Keeps Donner in Check for 53.8

In front of a buzzing crowd, Lynn Symansky was able to keep Donner's nerves in-check and earn a 53.8 score. For now, they are in 31st place . Boyd Martin & Shamwari 4 are the only U.S. pair that still have to complete their dressage test.

50.8 for Severson in Eventing Dressage

Kim Severson & Fernhill Fearless were the first Americans to test on day 2 of eventing dressage. Their 50.8 ties them with fellow Americans Sinead Halpin & Manoir de Carneville .

Dutton Leads the Way for Land Rover U.S. Eventing Team - Full Recap

The first day of dressage began on Thursday for the FEI World Team and Individual Eventing Championship at the Le Pin National Stud in Le Pin-au-Haras, France. The Ground Jury made up of Gillian Rolton (AUS), James Alain (FRA), and Ernst Topp (GER) saw 46 combinations perform their dressage tests, three of whom were representing the U.S. Phillip Dutton and Trading Aces had the best score of the day for the Land Rover U.S. Eventing Team, with Buck Davidson and Ballynoe Castle RM and Sinead...

Phillip Dutton & Trading Aces lead all U.S. Eventers so far, a nd are in 6th place overall .

50.8 in Dressage For Sinead Halpin

Sinead Halpin & Manoir de Carneville were the second U.S. pair to enter the eveneting dressage ring. They slipped up a little and ended up with a 50.8. It certainly wasn't a disaster, and for now they are in15th place halfway through dressage.

Davidson First Up, Starts Strong

Land Rover U.S. Eventing Team is Ready

The eventing portion of the 2014 Alltech FEI World Equestrians Games kicked off Wednesday with all horses of the Land Rover U.S. Eventing Team passing the first horse inspection. A field of 95 combinations from 27 nations presented at the first horse inspection, with 94 horses passing and one, Alexander, the mount of Ludwig Svennerstal (SWE), withdrawing from the holding box. The Land Rover U.S. Eventing Team, led by Chef d’Equipe David O’Connor, is prepared for strong performances...

There wa sno trouble for the U.S. in the first jog at El Pin today. All horses passed. Buck Davidson, Sinead Halpin, and Phillip Dutton will perform dressage tests tomorrow .
