Christine Traurig is the current Chef d'Equipe of the U.S. Dressage Team, as well as Technical Advisor and Development Coach for the program. Christine has been a part of the U.S. Dressage Pathway programs for more than a decade. 

Aside from coaching, Christine had a successful career as an athlete, representing the U.S. at the 2000 Olympic Games aboard Etienne, where they helped the team earn bronze. 

Traurig was named Chef d'Equipe in late 2023 and helped the U.S. Dressage Team earn team gold at the 2023 Pan American Games in her championship debut with the team. Traurig will lead her first Olympic team at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games as Chef d'Equipe.

Meagan Davis discovered her passion for dressage at age five, and by seven had found her calling in the discipline. She quickly proved herself a dedicated student, working at her barn after school to help fund her training.  

At just 11 years old, Meagan made history at the 2002 America's Cup (FEI Pony Division) in Blainville, Quebec, earning the distinction of being the youngest rider ever to represent the United States in international competition. That milestone launched a long partnership with renowned trainer Lendon Gray, who guided her development through the FEI Junior and Young Rider levels.  

In 2010, Meagan represented the U.S. at the Young Rider World Cup in Frankfurt, Germany, where she became the only American to advance to the "A" Final, ultimately finishing 7th. She followed that achievement with two months of training under Olympic medalist Hubertus Schmidt.  

A USDF Bronze, Silver, and Gold Medalist, Meagan has developed multiple horses to the highest levels of competition. Most recently, she has made a strong impression on the CDI circuit with Scott Durkin’s 2013 Oldenburg gelding, Toronto Lightfoot, claiming multiple CDI3* and CDI4* victories in Ocala and Wellington across the 2025 season and into early 2026.  

When not competing, Meagan trains and teaches out of her facilities in Loxahatchee, Florida (winter) and Stone Ridge, New York (summer). 

Ashley Holzer spent nearly four decades as a staple of the Canadian dressage team, highlighted by four Olympic appearances. At Seoul 1988, she was a part of the bronze winning Canadian team. She also competed in Athens 2004, Beijing 2008, and London 2012. Holzer also made three FEI World Equestrian Games appearances under the Canadian flag at Jerez de la Frontera 2002, Aachen 2006, and Lexington 2010. 

Holzer officially became a U.S. citizen in 2016 and declared as a U.S. athlete in 2017. In 2022, Holzer and Valentine were part of the silver medal winning U.S. Dressage Team at the FEI Dressage Nations Cup the Netherlands in Rotterdam, where they also finished third individually and named to the U.S. Dressage Team for the 2022 FEI Dressage World Championships in Herning, Denmark. 

Holzer opened the 2026 season with a victory on Hawtins San Floriana, a 2012 Hanoverian mare (San Amour I x Florestan I) she co-owns with longtime supporter, Diane Fellows. The pair took home the win in the Grand Prix CDI3* at AGDF, the mare’s first Grand Prix victory in two years. Holzer was selected to The Dutta Corp. U.S. Dressage Team for the opening leg of the 2026 FEI Dressage Nations Cup series in Wellington, where she and Hawtins San Floriana helped anchor the team to a historic win – U.S. Dressage’s first Nations Cup victory on home soil in five years – finishing ahead of Germany and Canada. The pair earned a spot on the short list for the U.S. Dressage Team for the 2026 FEI Dressage World Championship and have continued to achieve top results at home and internationally, most notably a second-place finish in the Hartpury CDI3* with a score of 72.574%.  

She and her husband, Rusty, have two children, Harrison and Emma, who are both film actors.

Kasey Perry-Glass is a decorated international athlete and Olympic bronze medalist.  At the age of 14, Perry-Glass began to focus on her career in dressage and would go on to train full-time with Debbie McDonald after competing in Europe for a spot on the U.S. Dressage Pan American team.  

She then joined the ranks of international elite equestrian athletes in 2016 when her mount Goerklintgaards Dublet, a 2003 Danish Warmblood gelding (Diamond Hit x Ferro) co-owned by Perry-Glass and Diane Perry, made their international debut with a break-out second place finish in the CDI3* Grand Prix at the Adequan® Global Dressage Festival. The pair continued to impress at Grand Prix, ultimately setting themselves up to become one of the U.S. Dressage program’s top combinations.  

After a string of consistent performances, the pair earned themselves a spot on the U.S. Dressage Team for 2016 Rio de Janeiro Olympic Games. “Dublet” and Perry-Glass helped the U.S. Dressage Team win a bronze medal with a final score of 76.667% in the team event.  

After taking a short break from competition, Perry-Glass returned to take home a seventh-place finish in the FEI Grand Prix Final at the FEI World Cup™ Finals Omaha 2017 with a score of 73.828%. Her success continued as she represented The Dutta Corp. U.S. Dressage Team across several FEI Dressage Nations Cups including Rotterdam, CHIO Aachen, and Hagen.  

In 2018, she was a key player to The Dutta Corp. U.S. Dressage Team securing the U.S. team Olympic qualification for the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games and helped earn the team silver medal at the FEI World Equestrian Games (WEG) Tryon. Marking her fifth major national championship appearance, Perry-Glass and Dublet took home fifth at the 2019 Longines FEI World Cup Finals in Gothenburg. 

Making her return to top international competition in 2024 with new mount Heartbeat W.P., a 2012 KWPN gelding (Charmeur x Olympic Ferro) owned by Diane Perry, the duo had their first international podium finish at the Hagen CDI3* in the FEI Grand Prix Freestyle.  

In 2025, they closed out the Adequan® Global Dressage Festival by topping the podium after scoring a 75.915% in the FEI Grand Prix Freestyle CDI4*, claiming her first US Equestrian Open Dressage Series Qualifier win. Shortly after, she was selected to compete on the senior team at the CHIO Aachen Nations Cup CDIO5* as part of The Dutta Corp. U.S. Dressage Team. 

With such a successful start to their 2026 season, Perry-Glass and Heartbeat W.P. continue to be strong players for the U.S. Dressage program, and most recently earned an individual high score of 71.341% at Hagen CDI4* Grand Prix Special amongst an extremely competitive international field. 

In November 2021, Kasey and her husband Dana welcomed their first child, daughter Tru Lynn Glass. 

Christian Simonson started riding at the age of six and competing at national dressage shows at the age of 13. He moved up the levels and began competing in FEI competitions in 2016, which was the start of an illustrious youth career. 

Simonson attended four FEI North American Youth Championships, earning junior team gold and individual silver with Herzkonig in 2017, young rider team silver with FRH Rassolini in 2018, and young rider team gold, individual golds with Zeaball Diawind in 2021. Simonson rode Zeaball Diawind to the Horseware Ireland/USEF Young Rider Dressage National Championship title at the 2021 U.S. Dressage Festival of Champions.  

Simonson went on to compete three times at Future Champions CDIY in Hagen, Germany, from 2021 through 2023, as part of the U.S. Dressage Young Rider European Tour, helping collect team bronze in 2021 with Zeaball Diawind and in 2023 with Son of a Lady. Also, Simonson rode in the CDIY division at the CHIO Aachen World Equestrian Festival in 2022 and 2023, finishing third in the FEI Young Riders Freestyle both times with Son of a Lady. 

In 2023, Simonson made his senior team debut at the FEI Dressage Nations Cup™ USA, winning team silver and individual gold in the FEI Intermediate I Freestyle with Son of a Lady. Later, the pair won the Neue Schule/USEF Intermediaire I Dressage National Championship at the U.S. Dressage Festival of Champions. 

Simonson made his senior team debut for the U.S. Dressage Team at the 2023 Pan American Games Santiago with Son of a Lady, where the combination helped the team secure gold medal honors. Following the Pan American Games, Simonson turned his focus to developing himself as a rider at the Grand Prix level, competing with Son of a Lady in FEI U25 competition, which included a string of nine consecutive wins.  

In late 2024, it was announced Simonson would take over the ride on Dutch Olympic mount, Indian Rock, purchased by Zen Elite Equestrian Center, to help jumpstart his career as a professional athlete. Together, the pair began to amass strong international results at the Grand Prix level, which included numerous wins on their journey to qualify for the 2026 FEI Dressage World Cup Final hosted in Ft. Worth, Texas.  

The pair qualified as the top North American combination for the 2026 FEI Dressage World Cup Final after an impressive start to their 2026 campaign, which  saw the pair finish in on the podium in both classes at the FEI Dressage World Cup Final – the best finish for any U.S. combination at the event in nearly a decade. 

Simonson competed both Grand Prix mounts, Indian Rock and Fleau de Baian at the 2026 USEF Grand Prix Dressage National Championship in Ocala, Fla., where both horses finished with strong scores in the Grand Prix and Grand Prix Special. With Fleau de Baian, the pair won the FEI Grand Prix Freestyle to conclude the championships and was subsequently named to the U.S. Dressage Team Short List for the 2026 FEI Dressage World Championships in Aachen, Germany, with both Indian Rock and Fleau de Baian.  

With Fleau de Baian, Simonson was named to the U.S. Dressage Team for the FEI Dressage Nations Cup Hagen CDIO4*, where the pair helped the team earn third overall for bronze, while also finishing on the podium individually in the FEI Grand Prix Freestyle CDIO4*.
