Meagan Davis discovered her passion for dressage at age five, and by seven had found her calling in the discipline. She quickly proved herself a dedicated student, working at her barn after school to help fund her training.  

At just 11 years old, Meagan made history at the 2002 America's Cup (FEI Pony Division) in Blainville, Quebec, earning the distinction of being the youngest rider ever to represent the United States in international competition. That milestone launched a long partnership with renowned trainer Lendon Gray, who guided her development through the FEI Junior and Young Rider levels.  

In 2010, Meagan represented the U.S. at the Young Rider World Cup in Frankfurt, Germany, where she became the only American to advance to the "A" Final, ultimately finishing 7th. She followed that achievement with two months of training under Olympic medalist Hubertus Schmidt.  

A USDF Bronze, Silver, and Gold Medalist, Meagan has developed multiple horses to the highest levels of competition. Most recently, she has made a strong impression on the CDI circuit with Scott Durkin’s 2013 Oldenburg gelding, Toronto Lightfoot, claiming multiple CDI3* and CDI4* victories in Ocala and Wellington across the 2025 season and into early 2026.  

When not competing, Meagan trains and teaches out of her facilities in Loxahatchee, Florida (winter) and Stone Ridge, New York (summer).
