March 26, 2008 - 8PM EDT Although still in the ICU Darren continues his gradual improvement, responding to commands and moving his extremities with more consistency. His left lung remains problematic with a chest tube still in place and draining fluids. Cognitively he is more alert, and able to identify familiar faces. American Farrier’s Association to Provide Farriers for 2010 Games

The World Games 2010 Foundation announced that the American Farrier’s Association has been named the Official Certified Farriers of the 2010 Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games. As the official certified farriers, the American Farrier’s Association will provide a farriery on the venue grounds of the Kentucky Horse Park from September 11-October 10, 2010. Bill Wilson, a 72-year-old from Pekin, IN, was named to the American Endurance Ride Conference’s (AERC) Hall of Fame at the association’s awards ceremony, held March 1 in Reno, NV. Wilson completed 24 of 25 50- to 55-mile competitions for a total of 1,775 miles in 2007, and has a total of 21,645 miles of endurance completions to date.
