James Alliston & HMR Rolan

James Alliston and HMR Rolan, a 2016 Irish Warmblood gelding owned by Anna Nicholas, made their FEI debut in 2024 at The Event at Rebecca Farm in Kalispell, MT. The pair came in 2nd on their dressage score of 27.1. That same year the pair added a 5th place at Woodside Fall International in the CCI2*-L and rounded out their season with a win in the CCI2*-L at The Eventing Championships at Galway Downs in Temecula, Calif. Beginning the 2025 season on the podium with a 2nd in the CCI3* debut at The Event at Rebecca Farm, Alliston and HMR Rolan continued to keep their FEI finishes in the top 5 with back to back wins both at the CCI4*-S level in their home state of California at Twin Rivers Fall International and ending the season at Woodside Fall International Horse Trials. To conclude the 2025 season, Alliston and HMR Rolan took home the title for the USEF Eventing Developing Horse Series for the 9-year-old category.
