Objective: The Development Program aims to support athletes with the perceived talent and ability to reach Elite status in the next four to eight years by focusing on developing the skills needed to progress on the Pathway.

Target: Goal of reaching Pre-Elite status within four years.

Review/Term:

  • Yearly selection with a retention review at the end of each year.
  • Maximum of four years in the Development Program.

Criteria for Development Training List

  • Commitment to learning, sports science medicine, business development and personal development.
  • Plan for horse string to match progression and long-term goals.
