By the time Alyssa Phillips was fourteen years old, she had represented Area V at the 2011 FEI North American Junior & Young Rider Championships (NAJYRC) and won both individual and team gold. Over the years, Alyssa represented Area V three more times at the NAJYRC and contributed to two team golds and a team silver. Since graduating from Texas Christian University with a Strategic Communication major and Business minor, Alyssa can almost always be found focusing on her string of top horses on the East Coast where she operates AP Eventing out of her farm in Ocala, Fla. As an equestrian athlete, Alyssa has become known for her passion-driven dedication to the sport of Eventing and mental toughness when it comes to competition. Rockett 19 is the newest addition to Alyssa’s string of upper-level horses. In the four starts of their season together in 2025, the pair secured a podium finish at three of the competitions with back-to-back wins at the CCI3*-S level and capping the season with a 2nd place finish at the MARS Maryland 5 Star at Fair Hill in the CCI3*-L.
