2023 Rulebook

This form is only to be used for an event that was awarded a bid for the 2023-2027 U.S. Eventing Calendar. A modification to the date(s), Organizer(s), location, or ANY level awarded (including the levels below CCI3*-L) must be requested with this form. For these competitions, the process outlined in the 2023-2027 U.S. Eventing CCI4*-L, CCI4*-S, CCI3*-L, Advanced Policies and Procedures supersedes USEF Rule Book GR3. Competitions that were not part of the bid process apply for modifications per GR3.

UPDATED June 2025 - The purpose of this pamphlet is to assist Exhibitors as well as USEF Dressage Technical Delegates, Dressage Judges and Stewards who officiate Dressage classes at any Federation licensed competition. Exhibitors and Officials must be familiar with USEF Dressage Rules DR120 and DR121 in the current USEF Rule Book. In no way does this booklet supersede the most current USEF Rule Book. There may be updates during the year and all competitors and officials should consult the current Rule Book prior to competing.

With the help of The Inclusion Playbook, we put together a brief costuming guide to help ensure participants are cultivating inclusive spaces. None of these Guidelines are intended to supersede USEF rules but we encourage everyone to follow these and contribute positively to an inclusive and welcoming environment for all.
