The Oldenburg stallion Rodioso captured his third grand championship in as many shows at the Letter Perfect Dressage Sporthorse Show on July 3, 2005, in Ridgefield, WA. The multi-U.S. National Champion Andalusian stallion, Davido MC, died on May 2, 2005, of an aortic aneurism, while breeding a mare at Selwood Park Stable, in Elkhorn, WI.
