Lexington, Ky. - US Equestrian is pleased to announce that Jonelle Chovanec and Hilary Wilcox have been named the 2018 U.S. Saddle Seat World Cup Team coaches for the 2018 U.S. Saddle Seat World Cup competition in July.

Chovanec (St. Charles, Ill.) has been coaching riders in the saddle seat discipline for 13 years. She is the owner, trainer, and head instructor of Landmark Farm Inc., where she manages a sizeable program. Chovanec rode on three international saddle seat teams and won gold in the Five-Gaited section. She has also won seven national titles in equitation and a reserve World Championship in the Five-Gaited section. “I am extremely honored to be a part of this organization and its unfailing support for the international saddle seat sport. I’m excited for this opportunity to let patriotism, our horses, and the U.S. team shine!”

Wilcox (Flemington, N.J.) of Kierson Farm has several years of experience coaching riders in the saddle seat discipline. She maintains a substantial lesson schedule and a string of show horses. Wilcox serves in multiple volunteer roles as the United Professional Horsemen's Association (UPHA) Exceptional Challenge Cup Committee Chair, UPHA Chapter 15 Co-Chair, and is a member of the USEF U.S. Saddle Seat World Cup Committee. “I am really honored to have been selected to coach the 2018 World Cup Team! I can’t wait to get to work with some of the top riders in our sport and continue to promote and grow the World Cup program.”

The U.S. Saddle Seat World Cup Team is supported by grants from USA Equestrian Trust and the UPHA. US Equestrian is pleased to partner with ModJods to provide practice jods to members of the 2018 U.S. Saddle Seat World Cup Team.
