Lexington, Ky. – The International Andalusian and Lusitano Horse Association (IALHA) is gearing up to host the 2019 IALHA National Championship Horse Show from November 5-9 at the Will Rogers Memorial Center in Fort Worth, Texas. IALHA Nationals brings together the country’s top Andalusian and Lusitano horses to compete in an array of disciplines including dressage, driving, heritage costume, reining, in-hand morphology and movement classes, working equitation, and much more.

The judging panel of Dinah Babcock (Dripping Springs, Texas), Chris Bickford (Sherwood, Ore.), Walter de la Brosse (Los Angeles, Calif.), and Cliff Swanson (Castle Rock, Colo.) will decide who takes home the coveted title of IALHA National Champion.

Prize List

IALHA Nationals offers more than just fierce competition. On the evening of Friday, November 8, the IALHA is set to host an exhibitor’s night in celebration of the Spanish and Portuguese heritage of the breed, as well as the Latinx members of the IALHA community. A fajita dinner will be served and 15 classes have been selected to take place on that night as a way of further celebrating the IALHA exhibitors, their horses, and their heritage.
