Lexington, Ky. – The 2019 Adequan®/Fédération Equestre Internationale (FEI) North American Youth Championships presented by Gotham North (NAYC) for Dressage and Jumping is fast approaching and athletes around the country are diligently training and competing to qualify. NAYC is the premier youth equestrian competition in North America, where young equestrians vie for team and individual FEI medals. The competition is run under FEI rules and is the only FEI championship held annually on this continent.

The NAYC for Dressage and Jumping will be held as a stand-alone event from July 30-August 4, at Old Salem Farm in North Salem, N.Y. This state-of-the-art equestrian facility is located 45 minutes north of New York City in the charming town of North Salem, N.Y. The iconic venue provides an idyllic backdrop to NAYC’s prestigious dressage and jumping championships.

For many athletes, this competition marks not only the first time they will compete on a team but also the first time they will compete for their country. NAYC provides an exciting opportunity for these athletes to compete against their peers in a format similar to senior international championships, like the World Championships. Competitors and parents will also enjoy a range of educational events and opportunities to learn the skills necessary to pursue a career in competitive riding from some of equestrian sports’ greatest stars.
