Bio:

Jack Curtis grew up in Beverly, Massachusetts where he began riding in the second grade at a local riding school and he was hooked from the very start. Following years of competing at the grassroot levels, he moved his horses to Pennsylvania to continue his education and spent his summer and school break training and competing. During this time he acquired his upper-level partner, Luska Candy Clover (Roo). Curtis and Luska Candy Clover, a 2013 Irish Sport Horse gelding owned by Betsy Curtis, were recipients of the MARS Bromont Rising U25 Grant in 2023 where the pair placed in the top 10 in the CCIU252*-L. The following year, fresh off a podium finish at Tryon Spring International in the CCI3*-S, Curtis and Luska Candy Clover returned to Bromont to take home the win in the CCIU253*-S. In 2025, Curtis added Cooley Topgun to his string and made his CCI4* debut with Luska Candy Clover at The Event at Rebecca Farm where the pair finished 4th. Most recently, Curtis and Luska Candy Clover were named to the US Eventing Squad at the inaugural 2026 FEI Eventing World Championship U25 and finished in the top 10.
