Will Coleman was part of the U.S. Eventing Team at the London 2012 Olympic Games with Twizzel and the FEI World Equestrian Games Tryon 2018 with Tight Lines. In 2021, Coleman and Off The Record became the first-ever U.S. winners of the CCIO4*-S at CHIO Aachen. The pair went on to compete as part of the silver medal-winning U.S. team at the 2022 FEI Eventing World Championship in Pratoni del Vivaro, Italy. In 2025, Coleman and Off the Record finished as runners-up in the inaugural US Equestrian Open Eventing Final CCI4*-L at Morven Park in Leesburg, Va. Coleman and Diabolo reached a career milestone in 2026 by winning the Defender Kentucky Three-Day Event CCI5*-L, becoming the first horse-and-rider combination to win both the Lexington CCI4*-S and the Defender Kentucky Three-Day Event CCI5*-L in different years, and just the second U.S. combination to win the CCI5*-L in the past fifteen years. Coleman had a stellar 2024 season with both Off the Record and new mount, Diabolo. The pair finished one-two at the competitive CCI4*-S at the Kentucky Three-Day Event. In 2025 Coleman brought home a podium finish at the US Equestrian Open of Eventing Final and four top 3 finishes in the 2025 USEF Eventing National Championships League for The Dutta Corp/USEF CCI3* National Champion in the Overall Professional Category and the USEF CCI4* for the Overall and Professional categories.
Diabolo, owned by the Diabolo Group, claimed a historical title with Coleman in 2026 as the only combination to win both the CCI4*-S and CCI5*-L at the Defender Kentucky Three Day Event all the while being Diabolo’s first 5* competition where he and Coleman finished on a sub-30 final score adding just 0.8 time penalties in the final day of show jumping to their dressage score of a 27.3. This same weekend assisted Coleman in adding yet another National Championship title to his resume and marking Diabolo’s first podium as a USEF National Champion. With a strong end to their 2025 season and a strong beginning in 2026, Coleman and Diabolo were named to the 2026 FEI Eventing World Championship Squad.
