Caroline Pamukcu (née Martin) has been a standout in U.S. Eventing since her youth. She competed at the North American Youth Championships (NAYC) in 2011 and in 2013, she was the Young Rider individual and team gold medalist. Since then, Pamukcu has represented the U.S. Eventing Team internationally on multiple occasions. Highlights include team silver at the 2022 Houghton Hall CCIO4*-NC-S (GBR) with Sherrie Martin and her own Islandwood Captain Jack, and at the 2023 Strzegom CCIO4*-NC-S (POL) with HSH Blake, co-owned with Deniz Pamukcu, Sherrie Martin, and Mollie Hoff.

Pamukcu and HSH Blake the U.S. Eventing Team for the 2023 Pan American Games in Santiago, Chile, where they contributed to the Team’s team silver medal finish and placed individual gold, with only four jumping faults added to their 26.8 dressage score. HSH Blake is a product of Pamukcu’s own young horse training program; she began competing the 2015 Irish Sport Horse gelding at the novice level in 2020 and by 2022 had placed 10 th at the FEI Young Horse World Championship in France.

Following a strong 2023–2024 season, Pamukcu and HSH Blake were named to the U.S. Olympic Eventing Team for Paris 2024. Making their Olympic debut, the pair led off for the team, earning a 30.40 in dressage and helped the U.S. team secure a 7th place finish. The 2025 season included multiple strong finishes, highlighted by a key role in helping Team USA secure the silver medal at CHIO Aachen in July, leading into a successful autumn season with a third place finish at the Coatesville, CCI4*-S and ultimately their first five star completion at the MARS Maryland 5 Star at Fair Hill and a fourth place finish.
