Mr Boombastic joined Natalie Dean's string in the fall of 2025, with the pair immediately making a mark in CSI2* level together. Mr Boombastic was acquired from Denis Lynch (IRL) who had jumped the impressive gelding up through the CSI5* level.

Dean and Shaggy quickly moved up the levels, earning multiple top place finishes at the Winter Equestrian Festival in Wellington, Fla., which included podium finishes at the CSI3* and CSI4* level amongst some of the world's best combinations. The pair made their team debut for the Icon Global Jumping Team at the Jumping Nations Cup La Baule CSIO5* where they delivered a clear round for the team. The pair were named to the U.S. Jumping Team Short List for the 2026 FEI Jumping World Championships. In total, the pair have finished inside of the top ten 11 time in international combination since the start of their partnership in the fall of 2025.
