Heartbeat W.P., simply known as “Heart,” is a 2012 KWPN gelding (Charmeur x Olympic Ferro), owned by Diane Perry and cared for by Meghan Laffin. With the help of Micha Knol at MRK Dressage, Heart joined the Team Believe family in 2023.  

Previously owned by Fleur van der Meer, Heart made his CDI debut with Perry-Glass in 2024.  

In 2025, he earned his first CDI win at the Adequan® Global Dressage Festival CDI3* Grand Prix with a final score of 70.804%. Heart closed out his first AGDF season by topping the podium after scoring a 75.915% in the FEI Grand Prix Freestyle CDI4*, claiming the pairs’ first US Equestrian Open Dressage Series Qualifier win.  

It wasn't too long after that Heart was selected to compete on his first senior team as part of The Dutta Corp. U.S. Dressage Team at the 2025 CHIO Aachen Nations Cup. With such a successful start to their 2026 season, Perry-Glass and Heartbeat W.P. are continuing to be strong players in international competition field, with the pair most recently producing a standout individual score of 71.341% at Hagen CDI4* Grand Prix Special.
