QC Diamantaire started his international career with Sydney Elliott in 2016, quickly rising through the levels and producing top results from the CCI1* level up through the CCI5* level. The pair exceled in competitions all across the country, Canada, and several countries in Europe. These results include a first-place finish in the Poplar Place Farm September Horse Trials CIC2* in Hamilton, GA. 

In 2016, Elliott and QC Diamantaire started off their CCI1* career with accomplishments such as a second-place finish in the Chattahoochee Hills HT CIC1*, as well as a third-place finish in CCI1* and Team Challenge - Hagyard Midsouth Classic Three-Day Event in Lexington, KY. The duo continued their success within the following years and remained competitive at events such as the Carolina International CC4*-S and the Land Rover Kentucky Three-Day Event CCI5*-L.
