Kimberly Palmer

Hometown: Half Moon Bay, Calif. Sport/Disciplines: Vaulting

Kimberly "Kimmy" Palmer made her debut vaulting at the FEI level in 2012 when she won the CVI Kentucky and North American Young Riders Vaulting Challenge Women’s Individual CVIJ2*. Since then she has competed around the globe both as an individual vaulter and in pas de deux with her sister, Cassidy. The Palmers were part of the U.S. Vaulting Team at the 2014 Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games™ in Normandy, France.

Palmer had a successful 2021, sweeping the Individual Female CVI3* divisions at the Vaulting Showcase in Rancho Murieta, Calif., in April, and Garrod’s Spring Classic in May. She competed overseas that summer, winning the Individual Female CVI3*-W at Fossalta di Portogruaro, Italy.

In 2022, Palmer competed in the FEI Vaulting World Cup™ Final, earning a bronze medal in the Individual Female division. From there, she won individual competitions at the Canada Cup CVI3*-W in British Columbia, the Pacific Cup CVI3*-W in Woodside, Calif., and Stadl Paura CVI3*-W in Austria. In June of 2022, competed at CVI Slovakia where she won the Individual Female CVI3*-W and paired up with Lorenzo Lupacchini (ITA) to win the CVI1* Pas de Deux. Palmer finished fifth in the Individual Female division of the  Mustang Corp. FEI World Vaulting Championships at the ECCO FEI World Championships in Herning, Denmark.
