Jordan Larson has always had a passion and love for horses and reining. He won his first Reining competition aged 10 and trained his first reining horse when he was 14. Larson has a history of top placings at both NRHA and FEI competitions, with lifetime earnings exceeding $2 million. In 2001, Larson won his first major title, the NRHA Limited Open World Championship. Larson has won the NRHA futurity championship twice, the first time being in 2010 just before he turned 30. Larson tied with fellow 2018 squad member Dan Huss for first place at the USEF Selection Trial and WEG Reining Test Event on a composite score of 450. Larson and his wife, Taylor, who is also an NRHA professional, work together as a team in their business, Larson Performance Horses. Larson has three children, Hannah, Cash, and Chloe. This dad of three is keen to give back to the sport and provide more opportunities for junior riders to excel. In 2016, Larson hosted a free training event at their ranch. They welcomed 18 young riders from across the country.
