Danielle Crouse is from a family who is actively involved in the sport of endurance. Her mother, Valerie Kanavy, is also a successful endurance athlete and was a member of the 1994 FEI World Equestrian Games™ (WEG) Endurance Team. This will be Crouse’s first WEG, though she has represented the U.S. in other team competitions. Crouse received her Doctorate of Nursing in May of this year and is a practicing family nurse practitioner. She is married with four children. Danielle Crouse earned a top-five at the 2005 Pan American Games in Pinamar, Argentina, a team top-ten at the 1997 European Championships in Pratoni del Vivaro, Italy, and placed second at the 2017 FITS CEI3* with AM Mysterious Mopsa. In the last three years, she has successfully completed seven of the ten races she entered with a top-four placing and above.
