Saddlebred Trainer Carl Parker Mourned

Accomplished trainer and member of the Saddlebred community, Carl "T-Bone" Parker, passed away on Thursday, April 30, 2009. Throughout his career, Parker worked for many notable individuals, including Elmo Greer, Tom Moore, Nancy Knox, Claude Shiflet, Terry Wolfenden, Merrill Murray, and Carter Cox. Parker had also trained for Cleveland Park stables, in Greenville, SC. Parker is survived by two brothers, Don and Fred Parker, sister Patsy Willimon, son Tyler Parker, and wife Lee Parker.
