The United States Hunter Jumper Assocation (USHJA) held a judging clinic on Friday, August 3, in Wayne, IL, in conjunction with Showplace Productions during Equifest I. (Lexington, KY) - The Board of Directors of the United States Equestrian Federation has approved the use of the new non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) EQUIOXX® (firocoxib). This new NSAID is the first highly COX-1 sparing drug to be FDA approved for use in horses. The rule allowing the use of firocoxib will take effect on 8/1/07.
