Gene Lewis: Remembering An American Equestrian Legend Gene Lewis, one of the great American horsemen of the 20th Century who applied his Western training roots to the jumper world, died on Easter Sunday, April 8, after a battle with lung cancer. Temecula, CA—Tiana Coudray of Carmel Valley, CA, parlayed a penalty-free run in show jumping to capture top honors at FEI World Cup Qualifier (CIC3*-W) at Galway Downs. The National Reining Horse Association (NRHA) has announced a strategic plan to re-align the NRHA, creating a National Governing Body for reining affiliates and its members in the United States.
