In a letter sent to veterinarians, Intervet Schering-Plough announced an urgent, voluntary recal of all serial numbers of Prevenile® West Nile Virus vaccine for horses. The recall is due to an increased incidence of adverse effects. The United States Department of Agriculture, Center for Veterinary Biologics has been notified.
