Tryon, N.C. – The 2026 USEF Combined Driving National Championship for Advanced Single Horses started today and will continue through the weekend with a new national champion to be crowned in the Advanced Single Horse division on Sunday. Six combinations will vie for top honors through three days of competition at Tryon International Equestrian Center, as part of the Katydid CDE.
Competition will begin tomorrow with the dressage phase, followed by marathon on Saturday, and the conclusion of the championship with the cones phase on Sunday.
The Katydid CDE will serve as the final qualifying competition in the U.S. for the upcoming 2026 FEI Driving World Championships for Single Horses to be hosted in Munich, Germany, from September 1-6, 2026.
