Lexington, Ky. – In a joint effort with the Pennsylvania National Horse Show to create a better experience for exhibitors and spectators, US Equestrian (USEF) is pleased to announce the following improvements to the 2019 Pennsylvania National Horse Show, the Neue Schule/USEF Junior Jumper National Championship (Prix des States), and the Dover Saddlery/USEF Hunter Seat Medal Final.

The schedule for Junior Weekend, held from October 10-13, has been adjusted. Pony Hunter under saddle classes have been moved to Friday, October 11, and the Pony Hunter handy classes have been moved to Saturday, October 12. The new schedule for the Pony Hunter classes allows the Neue Schule/USEF Junior Jumper National Championship (Prix des States) classes to start earlier in the evening on Friday, October 11. The complete competition schedule can be found here.

Improvements are slated to be made to the outdoor lunging area. Lighting will be added, along with footing material improvements and scheduled maintenance to the footing.

Thanks to a new educational partnership between US Equestrian and USHJA, an educational opportunity for both riders and spectators has been added to the schedule. Additional details about this opportunity will be forthcoming.

Additional improvements to the Pennsylvania National Horse Show include an increased sponsor presence, gifts for trainers of the Dover Saddlery/USEF Hunter Seat Medal Final and Neue Schule/USEF Junior Jumper National Championship (Prix des States) entries, and additional catering provided for exhibitors, including bringing back the Medal draw luncheon.

This year, the VIP Terrace will be located on the long side of the arena with a greater view of the competition floor, and additional VIP tables will be available.
