US Equestrian Board of Directors Seeks Nominations for Independent Director Seat

Lexington, Ky. – US Equestrian’s Nominating Committee has opened the election period for the Independent Director role on the US Equestrian Board of Directors. Nominations for the role will be accepted as of September 17 and will close on October 15 at midnight ET.

Life and Senior Active members can propose nominations for the role, which can be submitted online at the following link: https://www.usef.org/forms/nominations. Individuals must meet the criteria in Bylaw 303, Section 3, to be eligible for the role. The position requires a four-year term.

The Nominating Committee will review each recommendation and conduct necessary interviews, ultimately selecting an individual to put forward for the position no later than 30 days before the US Equestrian Annual Meeting. The Board of Directors will elect an individual to fill the role at the US Equestrian Annual Meeting hosted in West Palm Beach, Fla. from January 8-11, 2020, with the position’s term beginning in January 2020 and concluding in 2024.
