US Equestrian Announces U25 Teams for 2026 FEI North American Youth Dressage Championships presented by USDF

Lexington, Ky. – US Equestrian is pleased to announce the combinations who will represent three different U.S. U25 Dressage Teams at the FEI North American Youth Dressage Championships presented by USDF, set to take place from July 27 - August 2, 2026, in Traverse City, Mich. 

The FEI North American Youth Dressage Championships presented by USDF (NAYC) is the premier international championship in North America for children (ages 12-14), juniors (ages 14-18), young riders (ages 16-21), and U25 (ages 16-25). Youth athletes and their horses vie for team and individual medals in the only FEI youth championship held annually on this continent. 

The following U25 athlete and horse combinations have been selected to represent their respective regions at the FEI North American Youth Dressage Championships presented by USDF and are listed in alphabetical order: 

Region 1/5/7 

  • Grace Culley (Pittsgrove, N.J.) and Starr Witness, a 2011 KWPN mare (Chello III VDL x Veneur), owned by Laurie McRee and Doug Payne 

  • Josephine Hinnemann (Waxhaw, N.C.) and Copa Cabana MRF, a 2009 Hanoverian gelding (Contucci x Bordeaux), owned by Natalie Hamilton-Hinnemann 

  • Katherine Nayak (Tucson, Ariz.) and Iniesto, a 2013 Andalusian gelding (Dimarts x Euro V), owned by Pamela Farthing 

  • Miki Yang (Los Altos Hills, Calif.) and Furst Fabelhaft UZN, a 2014 Rheinlander gelding (All At Once x Fidermark), owned by Four Winds Farm 

Region 2/4/8 

  • Brenna Donovan (Andover, Mass.) and Scandal LWF, her own 2013 Oldenburg mare (Wittershausen x Patrick) 

  • Ella Fruchterman (Woodbury, Minn.) and Holts Le'Mans, a 2011 Danish Warmblood gelding (Tailormade L’Espoir x De Noir 3), co-owned by Ella and Todd Fruchterman  

  • Tillie Jones (Lincoln, Neb.) and Cilla Franchesca, her own 2016 Oldenburg mare (Franziskus FRH x Zardin Firfod) 

  • Josefine Parada (Waynesville, Ohio) and Floyd, her own 2011 Hanoverian gelding (Fuechtels Floriscount OLD x White Star) 

Region 3/6 

  • Alicia Berger (Wellington, Fla.) and Aqua Marin, a 2011 Oldenburg gelding (Ampere x Stedinger), co-owned by Alicia and Marianne Berger 

  • Kylee McKereghan (Crane, Ore.) and Red Riding Hood AN, her own 2011 Hanoverian mare (Royal Classic x Rascalino) 

  • Erin Nichols (Wellington, Fla.) and Kind Pleasure, a 2015 KWPN gelding (Governor-STR x Blue Hors Zack), owned by Premiere Sport Horses 

 

Competition Information 
The U25 competition at NAYC is set to begin on Wednesday, July 29, with the FEI Intermediate II test to determine team medals, beginning at 3:00 p.m. EST. The FEI Grand Prix 16-25 will take place on Friday, July 31, starting at 2:30 p.m. EST and will award the first individual medals of the championship. The competition concludes on Saturday, August 1, with the FEI U25 Grand Prix Freestyle, set to begin at 6:00 p.m. EST for individual medals.
