Lexington, Ky. – US Equestrian (USEF) is pleased to announce that the 2018 USEF U25 Show Jumping National Championship will be held at the Palm Beach International Equestrian Center in Wellington, Fla., during the Holiday and Horses Show, November 28 through December 2.

“The USEF U25 Show Jumping National Championship began in 2015 and for the first three years was held at the National Horse Show in Lexington, Ky.,” says US Equestrian CEO Bill Moroney. “We anticipate another great event this year at the Palm Beach International Equestrian Center and US Equestrian wishes to thank both of these fantastic organizers for their support and vision for this championship as it is a key event in the pathway for our jumping athletes.”

Headed into its fourth year, the USEF U25 Show Jumping National Championship will see 40 U.S. athletes between 16 and 25 years of age compete, based on their ranking on the USEF U25 Rider Ranking List as of October 27, 2018. The championship features $100,000 in prize money over three rounds of competition. The $10,000 faults-converted competition will kick off the championship, followed by a $15,000 jump-off competition. The championship will then be decided after the $25,000 two-round competition, with an additional $50,000 awarded overall.

The event sees many up and coming and future U.S. team jumping athletes compete, including past champions Lucy Deslauriers (New York, N.Y.) in 2015, and Jennifer Gates (Medina, Wash.) in 2017.

The Palm Beach International Equestrian Center is also home to the Winter Equestrian Festival and the Adequan® Global Dressage Festival, and is well-equipped to host this championship event.
