Lexington, Ky. – US Equestrian is pleased to announce Liza Tittle (Roswell, Ga.) has been selected to represent the U.S. at the 2026 Youth Olympic Games (YOG), which will be hosted in Dakar, Senegal. The Games are set to begin on October 31 and run through November 13, 2026.  

The Youth Olympic Games are held every four years in which athletes aged 15 to 17 come from around the world to represent their nation in 28 different sports.  The equestrian program at the Games features team and individual jumping competitions. Each qualified nation selects one athlete to compete on a four-member Continental Team. Tittle will join athletes from Chile, Guatemala, and Honduras as part of the North American Team. Athletes are assigned borrowed horses by random draw and compete with that horse for the duration of the Games, in which fence heights are up to 1.30m.   
 
Competition Information: 
The 2026 Youth Olympic Games will begin on October 30, 2026, with the opening ceremony taking place on Saturday, October 31. The equestrian competition will take place at the Equestrian Centre in Diamniadio, Senegal, and will begin on November 3. Competition will conclude for teams and individuals on November 6 when medals will be awarded.
