Falsterbo, Sweden - The Dutta Corp. U.S. Dressage Team looks to continue to build its depth as it prepares for the final three events of the 2017 FEI Nations Cup Series. At CDIO5* Falsterbo, July 14-16, the team looks for a strong finish against three other teams.

The U.S. team of Chase Hickok, Mette Rosencrantz, and Charlotte Jorst will compete in the following order:

Mette Rosencrantz and Marron: Rosencrantz (Topanga, Calif.) and Marron will participate in their second Nations Cup competition after competing in CDIO4* Uggerhalne last month. A talented combination, she and her 2000 Danish Warmblood gelding have earned nine top-five placings since March 2016. This spring, they placed first in the Grand Prix and Grand Prix Special at the Rancho Murieta, Calif. CDI in April and first in the Burbank Grand Prix Special in March.

Chase Hickok and Sagacious HF: Hickok (Wellington, Fla.) and Sagacious HF, Hyperion Farm, Inc.’s 1999 Royal Dutch Warmblood gelding, make their Nations Cup debut at CDIO5* Falsterbo following a transition to the Grand Prix level in 2016. The combination has impressed in the Grand Prix ring early, collecting a first-place finish in the FEI Grand Prix Special CDI3* during week five of the Adequan® Global Dressage Festival (AGDF) in February. They also earned the 2016 Grand Prix Open and Grand Prix Freestyle Open Championships at the US Dressage Finals.

Charlotte Jorst and Kastel’s Nintendo: Jorst (Reno, Nev.) and Kastel Denmark’s Kastel’s Nintendo get their first opportunity to anchor a Nations Cup team at CDIO5* Falsterbo. The first half of 2017 treated her and the 2003 Warmblood stallion well. This spring they picked up a string of second-place finishes, including the FEI Grand Prix and FEI Grand Prix Special at The Dressage Affaire and the FEI Grand Prix and FEI Grand Prix Special at the Festival of the Horse in March. Additionally, they secured top honors in the Grand Prix and Grand Prix Freestyle during week five of the AGDF.
