Wellington, Fla. - The horse inspection for the FEI Dressage Nations Cup USA CDIO3* set the scene for an exciting week of competition at the Adequan® Global Dressage Festival in Wellington, Fla., from March 18-22, 2026, which will feature teams from three countries — the U.S., Canada, and Germany.
The Dutta Corp. U.S. Dressage Team will feature Meagan Davis with Toronto Lightfoot, Ashley Holzer on Hawtins San Floriana, Jordan LaPlaca with Gold Play, and Anna Marek aboard Fayvel, and led under the guidance of Chef d’Equipe Christine Traurig, with team leader Laura Roberts supporting the first team event of the 2026 season. Additionally, the U.S. will field a U25 team, supported by Chef d’Equipe George Williams, will also represent the U.S. this week throughout the CDIOU25 competition.
Meagan Davis (Loxahatchee, Fla.) will make her Nations Cup team debut aboard Toronto Lightfoot, a 2013 Oldenburg gelding (Totilas x Okima Lightfoot), owned by Scott Durkin, bringing strong momentum after multiple CDI3* Grand Prix wins to start the 2026 season. Jordan LaPlaca (Ledyard, Conn.) will also make his Nations Cup team debut after capturing his first CDI3* win earlier this season with Gold Play, a 2015 Oldenburg gelding (Grey Flannell x Shangra La), co-owned by LaPlaca and Nancy Hutson. Seasoned U.S. Dressage Team member Ashley Holzer (Wellington, Fla.) comes in with a string of top finishes across CDI3* and CDI4* competition at AGDF this season aboard Hawtins San Floriana, a 2012 Hanoverian mare (San Amour x Floriana Elite), co-owned by Holzer and Diane Fellows. Rounding out the team is Anna Marek (Dunnellon, Fla.) and Fayvel, a 2010 Dutch Warmblood gelding (Zizi Top x Ofra), owned by Cynthia Davila, who head into the Nations Cup on the heels of a podium finish in the CDI5* at AGDF 7.
The CDIOU25 team will make their first team outing of the 2026 season supported by Chef d'Equipe George Williams and Team Leader Laura Roberts. Alicia Berger (Wellington, Fla.) brings Aqua Marin, a 2011 Oldenburg gelding (Ampere x Stedinger Heide) co-owned by Alicia and Marianne Berger, while Allison Nemeth (Flemington, N.J.) competes with Leviathan, her own 2016 KWPN gelding (Desperado x Hester). Sophia Schults (Ocala, Fla.) rounds out the U25 team aboard Conocido HGF, her own 2012 PRE gelding (Cosaco XI x Luz de Luna HGF).
Competition Information
The FEI Dressage Nations Cup™ USA CDIO3* will begin on Thursday, March 19, with the FEI Grand Prix team competition to determine team medals and the FEI Intermediate II for the CDIOU25 competition. The CDIO3* will continue with individual competition in the FEI Grand Prix Freestyle on Friday, March 20. On Saturday, March 21, the CDIO3* competition will conclude with the FEI Grand Prix Special, followed by the CDIOU25 Grand Prix 16-25. The weekend wraps up on Sunday, March 22 with the conclusion of the CDIOU25 competition in the Grand Prix Freestyle.
