News Flash: U.S. Reining Teams Earn Gold and Bronze at SVAG FEI Reining World Championships for Young Riders & Juniors

Givrins, Switzerland - The U.S. Junior Reining Team of Sarah Armenta, Mattie Gustin, Emma Lane, and Raeanna Thayn claimed the gold medal at the 2019 SVAG FEI Reining World Championships for Young Riders & Juniors. The U.S. Young Rider Reining Team of Dani Latimer, Cade McCutcheon, and Taylor Zimmerman collected the bronze medal. Chef d'Equipe Jeff Petska led both teams to podium finishes.

 

The U.S. Junior Reining Team finished on a score of 651.0. Germany collected silver with a score of 641.0 and Switzerland earned bronze with a score of 622.5.

 

The U.S. Young Rider Reining Team finished on a score of 646.0 in a close contest. Germany won with a score of 646.5 and France collected silver with a score of 646.0, winning the tie breaker.
