NetJets® U.S. Jumping Team Out to Take Back Podium in FEI Jumping Nations Cup™ CSIO5* Calgary

Lexington, Ky. – The NetJets® U.S. Jumping Team will look to defend their 2017 gold medal when they compete at the FEI Jumping Nations Cup™ CSIO5* Calgary, part of the Spruce Meadows ‘Masters’, on Saturday, September 8. Chef d’Equipe Robert Ridland turns to the team of Lucy Deslauriers, Zazou Hoffman, Beezie Madden, and Andrew Welles for a strong Nations Cup appearance. The U.S. has drawn seventh in the order of nine teams with Welles and Brindis Bogibo entering the ring first when competition gets underway at 4:00 p.m. EDT at Spruce Meadows.

Deslauriers and Hester recently placed sixth in the $300,000 Hampton Classic Grand Prix CSI4* earlier in the month. 

Hoffman and Samson II placed sixth in the $145,000 Longines FEI Jumping World Cup™ of Langley in August.

Madden and Breitling LS last competed at CHIO Aachen. Prior to CHIO Aachen, they were part of the NetJets U.S. Jumping Team that tied for bronze at the FEI Jumping Nations Cup The Netherlands in June. 

Welles and Brindis Bogibo’s most recent appearance was at the HITS Chicago Showplace End of Summer II. They earned two top-five finishes at the Spruce Meadows 'North American' CSI5* presented by Rolex in July.
