Land Rover U.S. Eventing Team Set to Compete at FEI Eventing Nations Cup™ CICO3* Aachen

Aachen, Germany -  The Land Rover U.S. Eventing Team will contest their third Nations Cup of 2018, the FEI Eventing Nations Cup™ CICO3* Aachen at the World Equestrian Festival CHIO Aachen. Chef d’Equipe Erik Duvander will lead Will Coleman riding OBOS O'Reilly, Buck Davidson riding Carlevo, Lauren Kieffer riding Landmark's Monte Carlo, and Kim Severson riding Cooley Cross Border in the competition from July 19-21.

Last Time Out

The Land Rover U.S. Eventing Team recently won a bronze medal at the 2018 FEI Nations Cup USA and FEI Nations Cup Great Britain.

Coleman and OBOS O’Reilly finished in the top-five in the 2018  Tattersalls International Horse Trials and County Fair Irish Field CCI3*.

Davidson and Carlevo finished in the top-20 at the 2018 Land Rover Kentucky Three-Day Event (LRK3DE).

Kieffer and Landmark’s Monte Carlo had top-20 finishes at the 2018 Brook Ledge Great Meadow International presented by Adequan CICO3* and LRK3DE.

Severson and Cooley Cross Border finished in the top 25 at the LRK3DE and finished second at the FEI World Equestrian Games™ (WEG) Tryon 2018 Eventing Test Event CIC3*.

Coleman: Named to the 2012 U.S. Eventing Team for the London Olympics

Davidson: Two-time Alltech WEG competitor (2014, 2010); 2011 Pan American Games Guadalajara team gold and individual bronze medalist; three-time Land Rover/USEF CCI4* Eventing National Champion (2013, 2009, 2003)

Kieffer: Named to the 2016 U.S. Eventing Team for the Rio de Janiero Olympics; top-10 finisher at the 2015 Pan American Games Toronto, and two-time Land Rover/USEF CCI4* Eventing National Champion (2016, 2014)

Severson: Athens 2004 Olympic team bronze-medalist and individual silver-medalist; three-time WEG competitor (2014, 2006, 2002), including team gold at the Jerez de la Frontera 2002 games; three-time Land Rover/USEF CCI4* Eventing National Champion (2005, 2004, 2002)

Competition begins Friday, July 20, with the dressage phase at 2:30 a.m. ET.
