Expressions of Interest Now Open for 2020, 2021, and 2022 FEI North American Youth Championships

by US Equestrian Communications Department | Apr 23, 2019, 3:21 PM EST

Lexington, Ky. – The US Equestrian Federation (US Equestrian) is accepting Expressions of Interest (EOI) for the 2020, 2021, and 2022 FEI North American Youth Championships (NAYC) for Dressage and Jumping, in addition to a Team Championship held at the FEI levels for Juniors and Young Riders for Eventing. US Equestrian must receive EOIs on or before Friday, May 31, 2019, by 5 p.m. EDT for consideration.

US Equestrian will accept EOIs from event organizers to host one individual discipline championship, a combination of discipline championships, or a full combined championship with all three disciplines. US Equestrian has the discretion to award NAYC for single or multiple years. The FEI has final approval on the allocation of the NAYC for Jumping and Dressage competitions. US Equestrian may give preference to submitted applications offering multiple discipline championships. While keeping all the disciplines together is preferred, US Equestrian will consider each application on its merits.

The purpose of conducting a host site bid selection process is to provide US Equestrian with a group of potential venues from which to choose a facility that offers the appropriate amenities worthy of hosting the FEI NAYC for Dressage, Jumping, and an Eventing Junior and Young Rider Team Championship.

For more information about the discipline specific requirements, please visit USequestrian.org. Submitted EOIs are not a legally binding document and do not create any legal obligations between US Equestrian and the Organizer. US Equestrian is not responsible for undelivered applications.
