Annex A, Supplement to DR121 of USEF Dressage Rules Update

by US Equestrian Communications Department | Jun 2, 2017, 4:40 PM

Lexington, Ky. - Please review Annex A, a supplement to DR121 of the United States Equestrian Federation (USEF) Dressage Rules, found on our website under our Dressage “Useful Documents & FAQs” section.

Upon review, please note that some bits previously not permitted are now allowed as snaffles or bridoons in a double bridle at USEF/United States Dressage Federation (USDF) Dressage Competitions.

The Dressage “Useful Documents & FAQs” section of our website will be the official place for posting updates to DR121 regarding legal or illegal bits and equipment for dressage competition based upon Fédération Equestre Internationale rulings and submissions for approval to the USEF Dressage Department. Additionally, competitors are reminded to periodically review Annex A for updates regarding bits and equipment throughout the competition year

Complete USEF Dressage Rules can be found on our website. Questions should be directed to Hallye Griffin, Managing Director of Dressage, at [email protected] or Hannah Niebielski, Director of Dressage, National Programs, at [email protected].
