Dear US Equestrian Members,
In our last update, I shared that the Board had formed a search committee and was in discussions with several nationally recognized executive search firms. I want to share the next step in that process.
The Board has signed an agreement with Korn Ferry, a leading executive search and leadership advisory firm, to support the search for our next Chief Executive Officer. Korn Ferry brings deep experience recruiting chief executives for national governing bodies and sports organizations, and will now work alongside our search committee to manage the process.
Korn Ferry and the committee have finalized the job description for the role. Click the link here.
For individuals interested in the role, and for those who wish to recommend a candidate, Korn Ferry will accept Expressions of Interest at [email protected]. Korn Ferry will manage all inquiries and submissions as part of the search process. Korn Ferry will also be developing and managing a member engagement process to understand more about stakeholders’ perspectives on equestrian sport.
When the committee completes its work, it will bring its recommendation to the full Board of Directors, which will make the final decision.
Bill continues to lead the organization through this transition, and the work and services our members rely on will carry on without interruption.
Thank you for your continued commitment to US Equestrian and to equestrian sport.
Sincerely,
Tom O'Mara
