— Effective October 3rd, Andrea Ice will take the position of Director of Hunter and Collegiate Activities for the United States Equestrian Federation. As Director of Hunter Activities, Ice assumes the position vacated by Susan Dotson, the newly named Executive Director of the United States Hunter Jumper Association. Ice’s duties will include overseeing and directing the Hunter Department, under the direction of Karen Homer-Brown in National Sport Programs. In addition, Ice will continue her efforts in developing and implementing collegiate equestrian programs with the NCAA, under the direction of Don Whittle, Director of FEI Affiliates.

“Andrea has been with the USEF for more than ten years. In her time here, she has done a fantastic job of promoting so many aspects of equestrian sport,” said USEF Chief Executive Officer John Long. “It’s fitting that she will fill the shoes of Director of Hunter, as well as continue shaping collegiate programs through the NCAA. Simply said, her work commands respect.”

Andrea Ice is a graduate of Drew University with a Bachelor of Arts. She has been working at the USEF since 1993, filling numerous positions within the sport.
