Lexington, KY - HorseShow.com, a revolutionary online horse show network, proudly announces the winners of $5,000 in total funding assistance for Junior and Young Rider teams set to compete during this week's Adequan/FEI North American Junior and Young Rider Championships (NAJYRC) in Lexington, KY, July 27-31, 2011. All NAJYRC team riders were invited to submit test ride videos to HorseShow.com to be judged by an FEI official and to become eligible for sponsorship funding.

In the Young Rider division, the Region 2 team consisting of Jennifer Harding, Katie Foster, Victoria Retamoza, and Emily Wright have been chosen to receive $2,500 in funding assistance for their journey to the NAJYRC. Team members were excited about the online competition service provided by HorseShow.com. For the Juniors, the Region 5 team of Taylor Lindsten, Devon Wycoff, Brook Santangelo, and Taylor Hershaft will also receive a check for $2,500. "At this level, one or two tenths of a point can make a huge difference. Having this opportunity to get an FEI judge's expert critique of these Juniors' rides is invaluable, because it is then possible to make slight changes that could improve their tests," said Kathleen Donnelly, Chef d'Equipe for Region 5. Dressage riders who qualified to represent their region at the NAJYRC were provided the opportunity to submit videos of their Junior or Young Rider Team and Individual Tests to HorseShow.com, and receive complete score cards and comments via e-mail from FEI judge, Natalie Lamping. This free service was made available to help riders assess their readiness for the competition, fine-tune their skills, and receive expert feedback, all from the comfort of their home arena. Competitors who submitted a video for review receive a free embroidered HorseShow.com saddle pad, and each team which submitted test ride videos from at least three team members were eligible for the $5,000 in funding assistance.
