Five U.S. Riders Set to Compete in 2005 FEI Eventing World Cup Final

Lexington, KY – Following a series of 17 qualifiers that spanned the globe, five American eventing riders will represent the United States at the 2005 FEI Eventing World Cup Final in Malmö, Sweden, August 11-14.

The riders, listed in alphabetical order, are as follows:

Robyn Fisher of West Hills, California, with Le Samurai (1995 Holsteiner Thoroughbred gelding, owned by Robyn Fisher)

Jessica Heidemann of Bellingham, Washington, with French Twist (1991 Thoroughbred gelding, owned by Jessica Heidemann)

Jan Thompson of Purcellville, Virginia, with Task Force (1991 Thoroughbred gelding, owned by Dr. and Mrs. Richard Byyny)

Heidi White of Chadds Ford, Pennsylvania, with Northern Spy (1993 English Thoroughbred gelding, owned by Heidi J. White)

Lauren Whitlock of Lafayette, California, with Kipling (1993 Thoroughbred gelding, owned by Robyn Whitlock)

Riders were only required to compete in one of the 17 qualifying competitions, though some competed in more than one, adding additional points to their standings. The highest placed U.S. rider going into the 2005 FEI Eventing World Cup Final is Robyn Fisher with 107 points.
