Lexington, KY – The USEF and USDF have approved a change of venue for the 2005 New England Dressage Association (NEDA) Fall Festival, September 14-18. Last week, the Board of NEDA unanimously voted to move the Festival from Fieldstone Farm in Halifax, Massachusetts, to HITS-on-the-Hudson in Saugerties, New York, a year earlier than originally anticipated. The Fall Festival is USEF-, USDF- and FEI-recognized (CDI 3*/Y Saugerties, formerly Halifax), and will host USEF qualifying competitions for the 2006 USEF Grand Prix and Intermediaire I Dressage Championships and the U.S. Grand Prix Freestyle Championship.

In its new home, the 2005 NEDA Fall Festival will enjoy 538 permanent stalls in seven new barns for non-CDI competitors, an FEI area with its own 80 stall barn, complete with FEI sand warm-up area for CDI competitors, and at least six large arena sand performance areas and six warm-up areas. In addition, the HITS-on-the-Hudson facility will offer a convenient location to a large number of competitors who traditionally compete in CDI competitions throughout the Northeast.
