Today, Tiamo is standing at Little Bit Farm in Wilmington, IL, still sound and successfully competing with Ken Borden, Jr. Borden is currently focusing on a Grand Prix Freestyle with this ever-willing and enthusiastic partner. In his last two shows, Tiamo has scored 73.125% and 72.5% and been high score of show. His median score is currently 72.500%, which appears to put him into the top three in USDF Grand Prix Freestyle Horse of the Year.
Although his career as a sire is relatively short (with the exception of one 2002 gelding, the oldest get are from 2008), it looks as though Tiamo will be a success in this arena as well. He has passed on his elastic movement, his flashy chrome, and his brave, confident temperament. Borden said, “At 23, he is not only sound in the show ring, but performs equally well in the breeding shed. His semen quality is that of a young horse, and he’s getting both young and old mares in foal quite easily. We have already sold several of his 2010 offspring at less than a month old.”
Tiamo is approved Hanoverian Verband, American Hanoverian Society, ISR/Oldenburg NA, and GOV. For further information, contact Ken Borden at (815) 476-2911, [email protected], or visit the Little Bit Farm website at www.littlebitfarminc.com.
