American Vaulting Association Website Gets Fresh, New Look

The American Vaulting Association (AVA) has launched a significantly improved and updated website. Visitors to the www.americanvaulting.org site can expect to find the addition of many new resources and educational tools, including video. Whether you are interested in finding a club, starting a program or learning about vaulting, the expanded website provides multiple sources of information.

The AVA first entered the information highway in 1995, long before many had heard of the worldwide web. The website was the vision of Eric Jewett, parent of a vaulter. Jewett was a frequent contributor to the Vaulting World newsletter and accepted the challenge to assist the AVA. He volunteered countless hours to maximize the use of modern technology to get the word out and educate others about our unique equestrian sport. Jewett's original fingerprints are all over the revamped website. Updated with a new "look and feel," much of the original content has been revised and remains on the site.

In addition, the AVA will launch its password protected members-only site on March 30. This portion of the site will include even more “how-to” information, photos and legacy vaulting videos.

Today, the AVA includes more than 1,400 members in the United States, in more than 100 AVA vaulting clubs and affiliates in states from Hawaii to Massachusetts. Vaulting is considered by many to be the ideal “first touch” equestrian sport. Vaulting programs may be recreational, therapeutic or competitive.

The American Vaulting Association is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) educational organization dedicated to the promotion of vaulting, an equestrian sport in which vaulters perform gymnastic and dance movements in harmony with their equine partner.
