Lexington, KY – Renewing their partnership with the United States Equestrian Federation (USEF), GumBits continues their support of the 2008 Collecting Gaits Farm/USEF Dressage Festival of Champions and the 2008 Markel/USEF Young Horse Dressage Championship, presented by Collecting Gaits Farm. GumBits, which specializes in manufacturing equine products, partnered with the USEF last year to support the Federation’s dressage programs.

The contributions of GumBits will help to support the prominent Collecting Gaits Farm/Dressage Festival of Champions, which will be held in San Juan Capistrano, CA on two weekends, June 21-22 and June 27-29. This event features the top horses and riders from across the country in multiple National Championship dressage divisions, including the National Intermediaire-I Dressage Championship, National Young Adult “Brentina Cup” Championship, National Junior Dressage Championship and the National Young Rider Championship. The Dressage Festival of Champions will also be the USEF Selection Trials for the 2008 U.S. Olympic Team in Dressage.

Again this year, GumBits will sponsor the 2008 Markel/USEF Young Horse Dressage National Championship, which will take place at the Kentucky Horse Park in Lexington, KY September 12-14. This championship helps to promote the importance of selective breeding and correct training of horses in the United States and encourages participation of breeders, riders, and trainers of young horses in dressage competition. The primary purpose of the Young Horse Dressage program is to encourage the development of young dressage prospects, including identifying outstanding talent and training international-caliber horses to prepare them for future careers at the FEI level and participation on U.S. High Performance teams.

"Global interest and demand in GumBits strengthens our continued support of the 2008 Collecting Gaits Farm Festival of Champions,” said Elizabeth Kane, one of the founding partners of Gambit Atlanta Inc, who produces GumBits. “Besides our loyal customers in the U.S., we have calls from Canada, Europe, China and as far as Australia from horse lovers who have been looking to stop the teeth grinding. GumBits really works by enhancing relaxation through promoting the salivation process. We are committed to sponsoring USEF events and are hopeful to secure international vendors to accomplish our business strategy."

The GumBits product was developed by two horse women in their quest to help the daily training of dressage horses. GumBits is a horse treat that encourages submission, activates salivation, eliminates teeth grinding and is made of all natural ingredients. Top national and international riders use the product daily for their horses and clients’ horses to help relaxation for successful training and competition.
