2026 USEF Grand Prix National Championship Get Underway at World Equestrian Center – Ocala

Ocala, Fla. – The 2026 USEF Dressage Grand Prix National Championship will begin this morning at 8:00 a.m. ET with the first day of competition at World Equestrian Center – Ocala, set to feature 16 of the top Grand Prix combinations in the country. The national championship, which has traditionally been included in the annual USEF Festival of Champions hosted later in the summer, will be featured for the first time in more than ten years as a standalone championship, while also serving as a preparation event ahead of the 2026 FEI Dressage World Championship Aachen in August.

The national championship will feature three days of top competition, including the FEI Grand Prix, FEI Grand Prix Special, and FEI Grand Prix Freestyle. To kick-off competition today, Jordan LaPlaca (Ledyard, Conn.) and Gold Play will start the morning as the first pair to head down the centerline, and the class will conclude with Nora Batchelder (Williston, Fla.) and Nova as the last combination to start their Grand Prix test at 10:33 a.m. ET.

The Grand Prix Special will begin at 8:00 a.m. ET on Friday, while the highlight FEI Grand Prix Freestyle will start at 7:00 p.m. ET on Saturday evening under the lights in WEC’s Grand Outdoor Arena.
