2026 USEF Combined Driving National Championships for Ponies & Para Driving Set to Begin at Tryon International Equestrian Center

Mill Spring, N.C. – The 2026 USEF Combined Driving National Championships for Ponies & Para Driving kick off Thursday, September 17, at Tryon International Equestrian Center. The championship divisions are taking place as part of the 2026 Tryon Fall CDE, running September 15-20, 2026. 

 The following national championships will be awarded this week: 

  • Training Single Pony 

  • Training Pair Pony 

  • Preliminary Single Pony 

  • Preliminary Pair Pony 

  • Intermediate Single Pony 

  • Advanced Single Pony 

  • Advanced Pair Pony 

  • Advanced Four-in-Hand Pony 

  • Para Driving 

Competition Information 

After the completion of the horse inspection for FEI entries, the competition will begin with dressage on Thursday, September 17, starting at 12:00 p.m. ET, including all national championship divisions. 

The marathon phase for all divisions takes place on Saturday, September 19, on the Arjan Kleinjan (NED)-designed course at Tryon's renowned White Oak cross-country course beginning at 9:00 a.m. ET. Competition concludes with Sunday's cones phase and the presentation of awards on September 20, set to begin at 9:00 a.m. ET.
